2018 EMA Awards: Tiwa Savage Brings Home The Award For Best African Act

Nigerian singer and the queen of the stew Association, Tiwa Savage was crowned the Best African Act at the recently concluded European Music Awards that took place in Bilbao, Spain.

In the category that also included fellow Nigerian singer Davido, the 38-years-old Tiwa Savage overcame five other artistes. Meanwhile, Cuban musician Camilla Cabello won four awards from six nominations becoming the biggest winner of the night. Popular American rapper and lyricist Nicki Minaj won 3 awards and veteran singer Janet Jackson was awarded the Global icon of the year.

The night also featured the likes of Jason DeruloJanet JacksonAlessia CaraBebe RexhaRosaliaDavid GuettaHailee SteinfeldHalseyJack & JackLittle Mix and more taking to the stage to deliver explosive performances.
