The Super Eagles’ preparation for the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against South Africa has started in earnest with the opening of the training camp in Asaba, Delta State today.
The make-or-mar match holds at the FNB Stadium, Johannesburg on Saturday 17 November.
The official handle of the team @NGSuperEagles tweeted only the training session on Wednesday would be open to the public while the other sessions would be closed.
The handle also confirmed that a media parley is slated holds next Monday, Nov. 19, ahead of the international friendly against Uganda.
Nigeria tops Group E with 9 points and is a victory away from qualification in next year’s tournament while the South Africans are second in the table which is a point lesser than the Eagles.
