Minister Agrees with IMF On Nigeria’s Debt Weakness
The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Senator Udo Udoma, on Thursday agreed with the International Monetary Fund on Nigeria’s debt vulnerabilities and stated that it was an issue that should be adequately monitored. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community worldwide has honoured a renowned Catholic Priest, John Cardinal Olorunfemi Onaiyekan, with an International Peace Award. Hajiya Ireti Kingibe, former wife of one-time Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babagana Kingibe, has denied that her husband abandoned MKO Abiola at the height of the struggle to validate the result of the June 12 election. Ireti Kingibe said in the current edition of The Interview magazine that it was, in fact, Abiola who left her former husband in the cold. The Nigeria Custom Service (NCS), Federal Operations Unit, Zone A, Ikeja has announced that it intercepted various contraband, including bulletproof vehicles, with a duty paid value of N2,017,953,507 between September 4th to October 3rd, 2018. This is just as the Unit recovered N220,025,938.8 from demand notices on goods that tried to beat the system at the seaports, airports and borders, bringing the cumulative value to N2,237,979,446. Among the seized contraband are: 22 exotic vehicles, 11,303 bags of foreign parboiled rice (18 trailers), 2410 frozen poultry products, 853 Jerry cans of vegetable oil, 245 parcels of Indian hemp, 4by40feet containers of unprocessed wood, 2,017 bales of used clothing, and 283 cartons of various pharmaceuticals all without NAFDAC registration number.

30 Filling Stations In Benin Shut Down For Cheating Customers
The Weight and Measures Department in the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment has shut down 30 filling stations in Benin. Nwachukwu Cordelia, Chief Media Mythology Officer of the Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Benin on Friday. 2 Men Rape 9-Month-Old Baby
Two men from Tennessee, U.S., accused of raping a 9-month-old girl and filming the attack were indicted Tuesday on multiple charges. Isiah Dequan Hayes, 19, and Daireus Jumare Ice, 22, are both charged with aggravated rape of a child and aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, FOX13 Memphis reported. The alleged attack was reported to police in October 2016 after the girl’s mother reported finding a cellphone video allegedly showing Hayes performing a sexual act on the baby. She was able to identify Hayes through Facebook and turned the information over to police, authorities said.

Teen Forced to Marry Cow He Had Sex With
A Balinese teenager has been forced to marry a cow he was caught having sex with in a rice paddy. Ngurah Alit, 18, reportedly passed out during the wedding ceremony.
