Arsenal have seen off Tottenham in the race to sign Nigerian strike prodigy Victor Osimhen. But Emirates boss Arsene Wenger still has to fight off German outfit Wolfsburg. The 16-year-old scored ten goals to inspire his country to the Under-17 World Cup in Chile last month.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino and other leading European club chiefs also hoped to capture Osimhen.
But the teen’s advisor Gaffar Liameed said: “We had many offers for Victor, but narrowed it to Wolfsburg and Arsenal.”
