Football governing body, Fifa, on Thursday morning published its latest ranking of National Teams.
Compared to their position the previous month, the Super Eagles remained static and still occupy the 67th position while they are 14th in the continental ranking. Algeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Senegal and Egypt are the top five teams in Africa in that order.
Nigeria’s next opponents Mali and Luxembourg sit in the 65th place and 146th place respectively in the updated ranking. In the global ranking, 2014 World Cup vice-champions Argentina lead the way followed by Belgium,Chile,Colombia and Germany.
