On Saturday, 5 November 2016, Ikeja City Mall welcomed music lovers to the Campari first ever Dare to Mix concert. The concert kicked off with a soft music from an emerging artist, H20. H20 would later give way to other young artists who prepped the crowd for the bigger stars.
Comedian Akpororo, dressed in a short-sleeved white tee on a long sleeved black tee, a boot, and long socks already looked comical before he opened his mouth. He thrilled the audience with his jokes leaving many rolling with laughter. Next on stage was Kelly Handsome, the Maga don pay was dressed in a white on black ‘senator’ and a red cap. Kelly sang his heart out when he performed his Adaobi and the crowd sang along with him when he performed his Maga don Pay.
After Kelly, Campari ambassador, TuBaba came on stage. TuBaba performed hit song after hit song, he gave such an energetic performance that left fans screaming minutes after he was off stage.
Another star at the Dare to Mix Concert was Adigun Abolore Akande, aka, 9ice. 9ice performed all of his old songs with the audience singing word for word with him. He was so impressed he gave one of his young fans his wristwatch.
The night continued as DJ Jimmy Jatt entertained the audience with a medley of songs that left them hyped.
TuBaba came back on stage to perform another hit song with 9ice, Street Credibility, after then he introduced his own special Campari mix, “implication shikarito” to fans.
Be sure to ask for “implication shikarito” the next time you are at a bar.
