The Anti-terrorism Operation at the Airports
On Tuesday, Special Forces from the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) carried out anti-terror simulation exercise at the international wing of the MurtalaMuhammed Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

Cargo Movement: NPA Urges FG to Determine Percentages across Routes
As the Ministry of Transportation forges ahead with its intermodal transportation, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has called on the federal government to determine respective percentages apportioned to particular transportation route for ease of cargo movement out of the ports.
The Managing Director of the NPA, Ms HadizaBala Usman, who stated this in a chat with stakeholders in the maritime sector in Lagos, said this should be done within a period of three to five years. Read more
NAMA Lists Stakeholders in AIS Automation
The objective of the Aeronautical Information Service is to ensure the flow of information necessary for the safety, regularity and efficiency of international air navigation. When completed, it will enhance air to ground and ground to ground information and boost interconnectivity between aircraft and air traffic controllers.
The AIS is installed in 11 locations and is planned to go on stream at the end of the year but would connect every part of the country by the end of 2017. Read more
