Army officials visit physically challenged man beaten by soldiers

Less than 24 hours after the arrest of two soldiers who beat up a physically challenged man in Onitsha, Chijioke Uraku, for wearing camouflage trousers, top officials of the army have paid Chijioke a visit.

The visit was announced by a twitter user, @nicolasibekwe, who said “Army meets, Chijioke Uraku, the disabled man that was publicly assaulted in Onitsha. Gives him cash gift.”
