Honourable Abike Dabiri-Erewa was awarded at the Trendy Africa Magazine fashion show at the Dallas City Performance Hall recently.
The fashion show, a platform for the promotion of multiculturality in the American city, had as special guests Honourable Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Ime Udo of the National Council for Arts and Culture Nigeria, as well as Bob Brunner, Eefy Ike and Lee McKinney, the Assistant Director Economic Development, City of Dallas.
At the event, the magazine presented TAMMAE (Trendy Africa Magazine Mothers Appreciation Event) Awards to distinguished women including, Senator Florence Ita Giwa, Hon. Dabiri-Erewa, May Olusola and Councilwoman Vonciel Jones Hill. The awards go to women who through personal and professional efforts have impacted their communities.
In his vote of thanks, Mr. Tosan Aduayi, Publisher Trendy Africa Magazine, recognised the event’s distinguished guests and explained that the TAMMAE awards is “an annual mother’s appreciation concept.”
Trendy Africa was founded as a website in 2004, and publication of the magazine commenced years later in 2008. The Dallas International Fashion Event forms part of the Trendy Communications Concepts.
