Passengers and crew on a British Airways flight are being treated for smoke inhalation after an emergency landing in Canada. A medical emergency was declared on board the flight from San Francisco to London, forcing it to be diverted to Vancouver, CBC News reports.
At least 25 people were taken to hospital with breathing difficulties. Images showed the plane on the tarmac surrounded by emergency service vehicles. In a tweet, Vancouver Airport said: “BA286 has landed safely at YVR. Medical personnel on scene to assist.” Read more
