AutusBridge Consulting, a strategy, management and training company celebrated its second anniversary on Friday, August 22, 2015 at the company premises in Illupeju, Lagos.
Addressing the gathering at the event, MD of AutusBridge, Olugbenga Johnson, said the company had come a long way from when he started it with N20,000 two years ago. He explained that the company came out of the sudden state of unemployment that he found himself and that he found the second years anniversary worthy of celebration because of projections that indicated that a lot of such private business do not survive the first year.
Johnson however admitted that the journey had not been without challenges. When asked to speak about the peculiar challenges that his business has faced. He said: The technology that we depend on to make our solutions work is not still very reliable. Then there’s the issue of infrastructure. In our training classes sometimes we run on generator throughout. We were undergoing a training session one day and our generator exploded. There’s also the challenge of personnel, finding the right people to work with you in the execution of your dream.
In addition to celebrating its second anniversary, the company also launched a new product which is a portal known as Talentsdorm. The managing director described TALENTSDORM as a platform that connects employers to talent with the added function that allows the job seeker upload videos so it gives the potential employer to see what they have to offer before setting up a face to face meeting.
Folashade Osun, one of partners with which AutusBridge Consulting carries out its business admitted that while it is not a total solution to the issues employers have with bridging the gap between what job seekers present on their cvs versus reality, it helps the process in a lot of ways as human resource management is a worldwide challenge.
Present at the event were clients and friends of the company including Pastor Femi Megbope of The Fountain of Life Church, Mr Niran Adedokun who was the chairman of the event, and members of press.
