Blackhouse Media, a media and public relations agency in Nigeria has announced its first training programme for media professionals. Named #Social4Media, the initiative is a free on- day training for journalists, bloggers, influencers, publishers and developers.
Speaking on the training, BHM’s Ayeni Adekunle said, “I get regularly approached by friends and colleagues for help on their websites, Facebook pages or instagram accounts. A lot of journalists and publishers are putting great effort in getting online and using social, but they are not achieving the desired results.”
The master class holding at Protea Hotel GRA, Ikeja on November 11 is aimed at helping media professionals address their challenges and sharpen their social media skills by providing them with the training and tools necessary to create, source and edit contents, connect with one another, increase website traffic, harvest and interpret analytics.
Ayeni noted in furtherance: “It’s frustrating, especially as many of them are not big organisations that can afford to have an engineering team. So, today, I’m happy to announce Social4Media, a free masterclass for our friends in the media – journalists, bloggers, influencers, and developers.”
The event will feature ten different sessions to be facilitated by industry experts and thought leaders such as Alibaba Akpobome, Tomiwa Aladekomo, Osagie Alonge, M.I Abaga, Ized Uanikhehi, and John Adewusi. Others include Frank Donga, Tosin Ajibade, Yemi Adamolekun, Femi Falodun and BHM’s Ayeni Adekunle.
