Boko Haram: Terrorist group ransacks five Adamawa communities

There was serious panic during the early hours of Monday. Residents of Michika and Baza communities in Adamawa State all fled their homes; there was another rampage by the terrorist group, Boko Haram.

The hometown of Governor Jibrilla Bindow, Mubi was also ransacked by the insurgents.

Other neighbouring communities of Madagali, Shuwa and Baza were also raided.

It was reported by our sources the Boko Haram insurgents drove into the towns in swathes before advancing towards Michika in a style similar to the way they captured the area in August 2014.

However, Brigadier General Muhammad Bello of the 23 brigade in Yola told the media that troops of the 28 battalion were already engaging the terrorists in Shuwa town, Madagali Local Government area.
