Breaking news: EFCC discovers stash of cash in Toni Kant’s pocket

The Economic Faffing-around Crimes Commission (EFCC) has made a huge bust in a well-timed and choreographed sting operation that will leave the FBI looking like learners.

In the early hours of Saturday February 11, 2017 while Lagosians were turning out en-mass for the Access Bank marathon agents of the EFCC broke down the door and hauled the writer out of bed.

A thorough search of his one room apartment turned up nothing until a very smart agent suggested they checked the pockets of his jeans trousers and voila, they found a stash of cash.

A forensic count of the cash turned up a huge haul – N28,645; £110, 600 Cedis and an un-used ticket from Freedom Park.

While Toni Kant has been released on self-recognition, the EFCC is still trying to unravel how he could have entered and exited Freedom Park without having his ticket stamped.

“We have to send this to Scotland Yard. This could be key to our investigation of Diezani Madueke’s loot,” the same very smart agent said. “This is a clear example of a talismanic occurence,” he added.

Calls to Toni Kant’s 3310 Nokia phone were not returned as at the time of filing this nonsense report.
