Snap To Stardom, an annual photogenic and phototaining contest designed to re-define and explore ‘Phototainment’ has come to click as one of the new beauty photo pageants to make a big difference in Nigeria.
Kanbitoons, an event and entertainment company has concluded plans on its ingenious idea to officially organise the Season 1 of the unique photo beauty contest tagged Snap To Stardom after the successful hosting of the pilot editions.
The essence of the photo competition is to search for the Most Photogenic and Phototaining Queen across the country and to basically promote and empower fresh models socially and economically.
Brands consistently source for photo friendly models with character and values that mirrors the brand essence. This initiative is however primarily geared towards promoting decent pageant as a re-branding exercise of creating a star(s) for brands value through healthy photo competition.
The mission of the organisers is to discover and empower young Nigerian ladies and wannabe models through the search in various campuses and environs between the ages of 18 and 26 irrespective of size, shape, colour and height to discover the potential in them through their pictures and uncover the beauty within their lifestyle in association with the family friendly competition.
To arrive at the final contestants to be taken to the camp for special photoshoot training and grooming, series of auditions would take place in different batches from the entries from around the country.
According to the principal consultant of the project, Kanbi Owolabi, he disclosed that the organisers are committed to their vision, and are fully ready to meet the expectations of the industry watchers beyond just packaging another photo-contest, but to break the norm and package a family driven contest.
