The wife of the Comptroller General (CG) of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Hadiza Jummai Ali has been reported dead in an Abuja hospital at the age of 53.
The deceased was the former first lady of Kaduna State and was survived by her husband, Hameed Ali and four children.
A family friend told the media on Monday, October 29, she will be buried in Abuja on Tuesday, October 30 by 8 am after a burial prayer at Annur Mosque.
In an interview with journalists, the National Public Relations Officer of the NCS, Joseph Attah, confirmed the death, saying it is a great loss to the family.
Hadiza served as the first lady of Kaduna between August 22, 1996, and August 1998 during which time Ali served as military administrator of the state.
