Congo friendly: Super Eagles, Star beer light up Port Harcourt

During the friendly game between the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles and the Leopards of D.R. Congo on Monday, May 28, official Super Eagles sponsor, Star Lager beer will be bringing the much anticipated Star Fan Park live football viewing experience to Port Harcourt, Rivers State for the second time, after having hosted successful activations in Calabar, Jos and Uyo.

As the 11th edition in the Star Fan Park series, Star Lager beer will be hosting a delightful send-forth party in honour of the Super Eagles to coincide with the friendly match against the Democratic Republic of Congo in Port Harcourt, as it is scheduled to be their last warm up game in Nigeria before jetting off to Europe as part of their plans for Russia.

With the 2018 quadrennial international football tournament drawing nearer, Star Lager beer is using the Fan Parks to show support to the Super Eagles by bringing Nigerian fans together in unity, offering consumers and football fans in Nigeria a range of premium live football experience both in the  build  up to Russia and during the competition itself.

Star Lager became the official beer partner of the Super Eagles back in February 2018, and since then has delivered outstanding consumer activities, especially through the fusion of music, football and entertainment via the Star Fan Parks, as well as a host of exciting reward programmes and experiences for fans, plus exclusive events in honour of the team which are already scheduled for the coming weeks.
