The Consumer Protection Council, CPC, on Monday announced commencement of investigative sitting into the operations of MultiChoice Nigeria through its Digital Satellite Television.
The council said the probe became necessary based on alleged consumer rights violation against the pay-television firm.
The council disclosed that a four-man team led by MultiChoice’s Regulatory Affairs Manager had responded to questions from the council’s investigating panel, comprising relevant staff members and a team of consultants.
The CPC said in a statement that its Director-General, Mrs. Dupe Atoki, said the investigation will be conducted at the headquarters of the agency in Abuja. Read more
