As we move closer to the 2019 election, more members of the House of Representatives are dumping their political parties.
At plenary on Wednesday, both Hassan Omale from Kogi state and Mohammed Soba from Kaduna state announced their resignation from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) respectively.
While Omale who is from Kogi state said he was joining Action Democratic Congress (ADC), Mohammed Soba from Kaduna state did not disclose his new party.
The members announced their defection in separate letters read by the speaker, Yakubu Dogara.
Reasons raised by the members were divisions and issues in their parties.
