Cool FM On-Air Personality, Ifedayo Olarinde popularly called Daddy Freeze, has taken a swipe at Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the founder of Abuja-based Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), after he told students in his congregation that they must sow a seed of N500,000 so that their faiths will be released.
The video of the sermon by the controversial man of God has gone viral and Daddy Fresh who has been on the warpath with Nigerian Pastors who keep asking their members to pay hefty tithes and sow humongous amounts as seeds quickly latched on to the video and posted the edited version on his Instagram page.
In the video, Pastor Fatoyinbo is heard saying that students should sow a seed of N500,000 because their faith has been withheld because they are not sowing seeds.
Pastor Fatoyinbo who last week was in the news for saying that even if God tells him that seeds do not work, he will argue with the Almighty, is heard saying:
“I’m not even facing the elderly ones; I’m facing the young ones. I want you to start early. Let’s leave those who have already. I want to face you students…
An offering is what you offer; a seed is what the Lord demands. N500,000 is what you need to release your faith for and give. I want you to come forward if that’s you.”
The sermon must have really irked Daddy Freeze who reacted to the issue by posting an edited version of the video on his Instagram page and expressed his shock that students are asked to pay tithe.
He wondered where students are expected to get such a huge amount to sow as seed and asked Pastor Fatoyinbo if he wanted the students to steal the money or go into fraudulent acts to raise such a huge amount.
For over two years now, Daddy Freeze has been battling men of God on the issues of tithing and sowing of seed and even has a movement called the #FreeTheSheeplesMovement and has been using the group to expose men of God who indulge in the act.
