Former Senate President, Senator David Mark and one of the Presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections, has declared that he is the only man who can bring the necessary changes needed in Nigeria.
Mark who spoke while hosting party faithful in his Otukpo, Benue State home on Thursday, October 3, 2018, urged delegates of the national convention of the party holding in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to vote for him if they truly have the interest of the nation at heart.

The Senator insisted that he is the bridge that can guarantee unity, stability, and prosperity of the nation and that the delegates should see these as superseding any other considerations.
He added that Nigeria had gone through avoidable turbulent times in the last few years and therefore, needs a man with the requisite knowledge, experience and passion for the country to salvage the nation and he is the man that can do it.
“The situation in the country more than ever before, demands ready hands, stable character, and commitment to the ideals of nationhood. I am committed to the sanctity of our unity. We must restore the trust and confidence in our people. We all have a stake in Nigeria. We have no other place to call ours,” Mark began.

He also reminded the delegates to vote wisely at the convention saying ‘I will be with you and serve the nation diligently. I will be there for you. I will not let you down. I will be the last man standing.’
