Davido’s 17 luggage impounded at Lagos Airport over aide’s attack on security personnel (Independent)

Security agencies attached to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos have impounded 17 check-in luggage of the Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

The security agencies took the decisive action following the attacks on Aviation Security (AVSEC), Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and Check Port personnel at the Lagos airport when he arrived from a trip aboard Emirates Airlines on Thursday evening.

A source close to the terminal told Independent on Thursday that crisis began when Check Port staff at the Baggage Reclaim area attempted to check the tags on the check-in luggage of Davido to confirm if it corresponded with the reclaimed luggage. Read more
