‘Disguise’, Agatha Amata-produced movie ready for cinema

Disguise, a hilarious adventure movie, the first produced by Agatha Amata the CEO of Rave TV, will open in cinemas across the country on March 2. However, before then, the film starring Ik Ogbonna, Nancy Isime, Daniel K Daniel, Toyin Abraham and Wale Ojo, will screen to select media on February 15 at the Filmhouse, Surulere, Lagos.

Before it eventually opens to the public also, interested participants in the ‘The Disguise Challenge’ will get an opportunity to win exciting prizes including VIP tickets to the premiere, free cinema tickets, Disguise merchandise and many other prizes.

According to the flyer announcing the giveaway, those intending to participate should upload a video of themselves disguised as their favourite celebrity, use the hashtags #DISGUISECHALLENGE #DISGUISETHEMOVIE then tag and challenge three other friends.

The competition ends on March 1 and winners will be announced weekly until then.

In the movie, IK Ogbonna and Nancy Isime are in the quest to discover what women really want. Ogbonna therefore disguises as a woman, while Isime dons male clothes. What follows is as thrilling as it is hilarious.

Co-produced by Victor Okpala, it is directed by Desmond Elliot who also stars as an actor. Major partners to the movie include FilmOne Distribution, Bank of Industry, Dufil Prima Foods, Trend FM Asaba and Rave TV.

Amata, whose Inside Out, a TV talk show she founded and presents, has the record for the longest running in the country, is quoted to have said that the movie revolves around what women really want from their men.

“IK Ogbonna plays lead in the movie and his role is fabulous to say the least,” she said.

She told Sabinews.com that the film will premiere on February 25.
