Ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries in Ekiti, the National Leader of the party and former governor of Lagos, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has said he has no preferred candidate for the primaries.
According to him, whoever emerges among the aspirants during the primary would be the candidate he would support during the July 14 election in the state.
Daily Trust reports that more than 30 APC aspirants would be slugging it out in the primaries slated for tomorrow in the state.
Among the aspirants are the immediate past governor and Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, another former governor, Mr. Segun Oni, Special Adviser (Political) to the President, Babafemi Ojudu, former Speaker of the Ekiti House of Assembly, Hon. Olufemi Bamisile, former Reps member, Opeyemi Bamidele, among others. Read more
