The judges for the Etisalat Prize for Fiction Shortlist 2015 have agreed on a shortlist.

One of the judges Zukiswa Wanner let the cat out of the bag via a facebook post.

“My fellow judges and I had mucho fun and discussions as we went from long to shortlist. If you’re looking for some holiday reads, I promise you, you won’t go wrong with this shortlist. Congratulations to:

Penny Busetto  – The Story of Anna P as Told By Herself (Jacana)

Fiston Mwanza Mujila- Tram 83

Rehana Rossouw – What Will People Say”

There you have it, two South Africans, one Congolese  and a big snub to Nigeria’s Chigozie  Obioma whose The Fisherman many thought a huge favourite.
