FA slaps West Brom, Tottenham with fines for poor player conduct

The Football Association have fined West Bromwich Albion and Tottenham Hotspur for failing to control their players during their 1-1 draw at The Hawthorns earlier in December.

West Brom have been slapped with a £25,000 fine while Tottenham must pay £20,000 after both teams were caught in a scuffle towards the end of the Barclays Premier League match.

Both clubs admitted to breaching the FA rules with tensions high following James McClean’s tackle on Mousa Dembele in the closing stages. Read more
