The planned re-arraignment of a 53 years old farmer, Yesiru Onajobi, facing charges of incest brought against him by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and other Related Matters (NAPTIP) before the Federal High Court in Lagos was yesterday stalled due to the absence of a language interpreter.
Onajobi, who is a resident of Bogije Street, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, is standing trial on two count charge of having unlawful carnal knowledge of his teenage daughter.
At the resumed hearing of the suit on Tuesday, the accused who spoke in Yoruba and pidgin, informed the court that he had no legal representation and would want to stand in his defence.
