Female aid workers freed in Somalia (Memo)

Three humanitarian aid workers were freed by Al-Shabaab in Somalia yesterday, the local Garowenews site reported.

The aid workers were kidnapped by the armed group in July in Far-Libah area, whilst working for the charity Hello Trust. A parent of one of the aid workers said on the condition of anonymity that Al-Shabaab demanded a ransom of $13,000 each from the families.
