Here are official renders of Huawei’s P30, P30 Pro

In a fortnights time, leading Chinese smartphone maker Huawei will be unveiling its next-generation P30 series smartphones at a global launch event in Paris, France. Here’s a looksee into the upcoming P30 and P30 Pro official renders of the flagship smartphones in the Black color option.

Huawei P30, P30 Pro Official Renders

As shown by previously leaked renders of the two smartphones, the P30 and P30 Pro will feature waterdrop notches and a nearly bezel-less design. The vanilla Huawei P30, as you can see in the renders below, will have a flat display. Huawei P30 Pro, on the other hand, sports a dual-curved panel similar to the Mate 20 Pro. Apart from the Black color option seen in these renders, the P30 Pro is expected to be available in Sunrise Red, Twilight, and Aurora color options. The vanilla P30 will be available in Twilight, White, and Blue colors.

Moving on to the rear, we can see that the two smartphones have no visible fingerprint sensor. This isn’t surprising, as they will come with an in-display fingerprint reader instead of a rear-mounted sensor. For imaging, the P30 Pro model is said to feature a total of four sensors on the back. The fourth sensor on the P30 Pro is tipped to be a Time of Flight sensor. It will include a 40MP main sensor with an f/1.6 aperture lens, a secondary 16MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP zoom lens with an f/2.4 aperture. Thanks to a periscope-style zoom lens system and software wizardry, the smartphone will be capable of up to 10x hybrid zoom. The vanilla P30 will feature a triple-camera setup with a 40MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, 16MP wide-angle sensor, and an 8MP zoom lens with 5x hybrid zoom.

The Huawei P30 is said to have a 6.1-inch OLED display with 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Its more expensive sibling will sport a larger 6.47-inch dual-curved OLED panel with the same Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, P30 and P30 Pro will both run on a 7nm Kirin 980 chipset. In terms of memory, the P30 will include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable further via Huawei’s proprietary NanoMemory card. Huawei P30 Pro will come with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard memory.
