Popular Nigerian singer Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe best known as Kiss Daniel has mentioned during an interview with Vibes Magazine that he wants to become the greatest musician to have ever lived.
Kiss Daniel came into prominence in 2013 when he released the hit single “Woju” with the record label G-world entertainment, however both parties would separate in 2017 following a dispute over his contract. The singer has since gone on to establish his own record label known as Fly Boy Inc. in 2017.
The hit maker denounced the term ‘biggest artiste’ because he believes it is merely a temporary compliment, it doesn’t define the longevity of the singer’s career just the current contributions to the industry. Kiss Daniel further said the following:
“I just want to be the greatest artiste ever liveth. I don’t really care about who the biggest is. It is just a temporary thing,”
“I’m beginning to feel more and more like a father. I’m glad I have Demmie Vee on board. He’s an amazing talent. I’m actually very excited about this particular artiste because I know he’s got what it takes to become the next big thing in the industry.
“It takes a whole lot of time and energy to be an artist and a CEO at the same time. You have to think about yourself, you have to think about your artiste and you always have to put your artist first.
“You want to put the artiste in a very good place so that at the end of the day, he can look back and say, Kizz Daniel, did well with me so whenever he is all by himself and he thinks about it, he’ll remember that “this dude actually came through for me”. That’s what I’m doing right now and I really enjoy it.”
The singer has released just one studio album titled New Era in 2016, due to the contract dispute he was unable to release a follow up studio work immediately. Nonetheless, he has been releasing major hit singles such as “No do” and “for you” featuring Wizkid. We believe that with hard work, dedication and consistency the sky is the starting for the superstar.
