Wikki Tourists captain and right-back, Mustapha Ibrahim has said the side’s inconsistency in the ongoing top-flight will successfully come to an end on Sunday against former champions, Kano Pillars.
The Bauchi Elephants are hosts of the Pyramid City side in Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 28 clash at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS) in Bauchi.
Ibrahim said his side have worked very hard to ensure outright victory against Pillars after a futile campaign at Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) in Ibadan last week.
“Our campaign this term has been characterised with up and down performance and it has not been helpful, especially on our placement on the league log.
“We have however decided to bring to an end the inconsistency in our performance with the clash against Kano Pillars.
“We must demonstrate our capability to pull away from the uncomfortable zone with consistent performance both on home and away matches.
“Kano Pillars were freed from last week’s football action due to the continental engagement of opponents, Rivers United and must have fixed their eyes on the clash against us on Sunday.
