Kylian Mbappe, the 19-year-old France international has broken a 45-year-old record in the French Ligue 1 after he scored four quickfire goals in 13 minutes as Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) trounced Lyon 5-0 in a league match played on Sunday, October 7, 2018.
Mbappe who won the World Cup with France and is the reigning Best Young Player in the world further underlined his ever growing status in the resounding victory over Lyon.

The former Monaco forward switched into gear after strike partner, Neymar, had given PSG a half-time lead from the penalty spot in the second half when he ran riot and struck four times in the space of 13 minutes as PSG ran riot to further cement their leadership of Ligue 1.
The first of the goals came in the 61st minute following Neymar’s mazy run and shot which came off the post only for Mbappe to smash home the rebound. He doubled his tally when Marquinhos crossed met him and he tapped into a virtually empty net.
Neymar then turned provider again as he put the teenager clean through with goalkeeper Anthony Lopes beaten by an arrowing shot from 18 yards.
The remarkable display was complete when Mbbape reacted first after Neymar’s shot was cleared off the line and slammed into the net.
