Lagos APC Primaries: Sanwo-Olu in early lead over Ambode

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries currently going on in Lagos State may be a complete walkover for former Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who seems to be trouncing incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on all fronts.

Early results trickling in from our man in the field shows that Sanwo-Olu who has been anointed by APC National Leader Bola Tinubu and the leadership of the party in the state, is leading Ambode comfortably and the end result could be a trouncing and total annihilation of the governor.
Earlier in the elections, Olanrewaju Yahaya, the electoral officer in charge of Ward C, Alausa, the seat of government, showed that the challenger led with 960 votes while Ambode recorded only four votes.

In Agbado/Oke-Odo local council development area, Sanwo-Olu also trounced Ambode, polling 13,380 to the governor’s 115 votes.
