There was confusion on Monday following the discovering of the head of an unidentified man without his body parts at Uzere, in the Isoko South area of Delta State.
Punch Metro learnt that the head was discovered in a bush close to Uzere community junction by travellers, who drew the attention of residents to it in the early hours of Monday.
It was gathered that residents, who thronged the scene, could not identify the deceased.
Sources said police operatives from the Oleh division were later invited by community leaders to take the head to a morgue.
Residents were reported to have lamented the killing, describing it as strange and a bad omen. Read more
