Meghan Markle visited Bath today (April 6) and to mark the occasion an owl sculpture is to be created in her image. The Suits actress was in the city on Friday (April 6) alongside her royal partner, with just a few weeks to go until their wedding at Windsor Castle on May 19. She and Prince Harry were at the University of Bath for the Invictus Games UK team trials. The international sporting competition allows injured, wounded or sick personnel and veterans to compete against each other in a variety of sports. Prince Harry created the competition.
In honour of the occasion a West Country artist is to create an owl sculpture, based on Ms Markle. The Bristol-based independent street artist known as ‘Angus’, also known as Nicholas Bryant, has weaved lots of little nods to Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding into his design. ‘Meghan’ is wearing the Spencer family tiara (rumoured to be what she’ll wear on the day) and a wedding ring around her foot where the owl bird tags are usually put.
