Right after the 2018 election, when Muhammad Buhari emerged victorious, a young man, Mohammed Munlaila, decided to walk from Lagos to Abuja to underscore his elation and belief in a better Nigeria to come.
His walk was widely covered by many media enthusiasts and the bug caught on social media platforms, creating a trend that almost all Nigerians got on board with. On arrival in Abuja, he was also greeted by the president himself.
Less than four years later, Munlaila doesn’t seem to be quite enthusiastic about the government he had challenged himself for. And to highlight his current position, Munlaila has gone ahead to demonstrate a direct opposite reaction.
On August 23, 2018, Munlaila stated he would embark on another trek, this time from Abuja to Lagos. Now he claims to have completed the trek, which did not generate as much virility as the first one. Munlaila is also believed to have joined PDP. And he did get a mention on twitter by a PDP member.
