Consistently referred to as a man of great humility and of excellence, Africa’s NO. 1 DJ, Cool Dj Jimmy Jatt on Sunday 17th August celebrated 25 years in the music industry with a dinner and launch of his album, The Industry as well as his memoir, Avant-Garde: The Cool DJ Jimmy Jatt Story.
The event which was hosted by radio personality, Olisa Adibua had in attendance guests as important and varied as BisiOlatilo, 2face, Kate Henshaw, Ufuoma Ejenobo, Davido, MI, Phyno, Dede, Juliet Ibrahim, Kaycee, Bracket, Gbenga Adeyinka I, Mudi, Omawumi, Tiwa Savage, Daddy Showkey, AyeniAdekunle, Steve Ayorinde, Bisoye Fagade, Kevi Orifa, Kunle Bakare, Dj Humility, Sunny Are, Sound Sultan, KCee, Harrysongs, Eedris Abdulkarrem, Kenny Ogungbe, Kenny St. Brown, amongst others in attendance.
Ace comedians Basketmouth, Bovi, Julius Agu and OkeyBakassi were in top form as they reeled out joke after joke to keep the audience laughing. Praiz and Yinka Davies were also on hand to belt out powerful music.
