Once again, the National Assembly has postponed the resumption of plenary to October 9, 2018.
The federal parliament was earlier scheduled to resume on the September 25, 2018, but that earlier date will no longer be feasible. The Clerk of the National Assembly, Sani Omolori, stated this in a notice to members of the National Assembly on Sunday, September 23.
The notice reads:
“This is to inform all Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members that resumption of plenary session earlier scheduled for Tuesday, September 25 has been postponed to Tuesday October 9, due to the activities of the primaries of the political parties.
“All Distinguished Senators and Honourable members are expected to resume plenary session by 10 am on the October 9, please.”
