President Muhammadu Buhari has handed out portfolios to new ministers and once again, a female has been entrusted with the finances of the nation.
Kemi Adeosun, former finance commissioner in Ogun State is the new finance minister and she will have to work in whatever economic team that emerges alongside Udo Udoma who has been named Minister of Budget and National Planning and Okechukwu Enelemah who holds sway as Minister of Trade of Investment
But it is Tunde Fashola who has been entrusted with the very key ministries of Works, Housing and Power. A tall order one would say but not for Fashola who tamed Lagos.
Others in no particular order:
Lai Mohammed – Minister of Information
Kayode Fayemi – Minister of Solid Minerals
Ogbonnaya Onu – Minister of Science and Technology
Usani Usani – Minister of Niger Delta
Aisha Alhassan – Minister of Women Affairs
Audu Ogbeh – Minister of Agriculture
Ibe Kachikwu – Minister of State, Petroleum
Bayo Shittu – Communications
Adamu Adamu – Minister of Education
Chibuike Amaechi, is the Minister of Transportation.
