The Flying Eagles of Nigeria now stand a chance of qualification to the second round of the ongoing U-20 World Cup as they won the Korean side by four goals at the Stadium Taranaki in New Plymouth.
The first two goals for Nigeria were scored by Godwin Saviour in the 48th and 51st minutes. This was followed by a goal by Kingsley Sokari in the 71st minute and it was 4-0 in the 80th minute when substitute Success Isaac scores less than five minutes after coming on.
The youngsters who lost their first game 4-2 to Brazil, promised to give their best in the next game and so they have. North Korea is out of the competition after two straight loses: first to Hungary (5-1) and now to the Flying Eagles.
