A bride-to-be has tweeted the singer Craig David every day for a year in a bid to get him to play at her wedding later this month.

Although friends and family, and Richard, have said that it is unlikely he’ll grant her wish.
Sophie said: “Richard thinks I’m bonkers. He says I’ve got no chance of getting Craig David to our wedding. I want to prove him wrong.”
The office manager met her recruitment consultant fiance, Richard, 28, at a club in Birmingham eight years ago and he proposed in the Cayman Islands, in February 2016.

Sophie recalled how she got into Craig David’s music when she was about 13 and her favourite track is ‘Seven Days’. She owns all his albums and has seen him perform live 10 times. Read more
