The Council of British International Schools (COBIS) has added a new member to its growing association. Olashore International School, Lagos, was inducted into COBIS in a one-day conference, organised by the association in partnership with GL Education.
At the conference, which hinged on the effective use of data assessment, the association noted that Olashore’s induction was inspired by its outstanding education programmes, which are backed by strong policies to ensure that children are kept safe at all times.
Delegates at the conference learnt about the use of data to support teaching and learning, as well as support senior leaders in strategic school development plans and in providing evidence for accreditations. International Schools in Nigeria were also given case study materials, as well as hands-on guidance in data analysis from current practitioners and assessment experts.
