Former Governors of Osun and Oyo State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and that of Oyo State, Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja have canvassed for the support by Osun residents to cast their votes for the gubernatorial candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) Alhaji Fatai Akinade Akinbade in the forthcoming governorship election.
Oyinlola and Ladoja gave the plea at Ile-Ife during the campaign rally to canvass support for Akinbade.
Also present at the rally was the former deputy governor in Oyo State, Alhaji Arapaja among other chieftains of the party.
Oyinlola while speaking at the campaign rally called on the people of the state to cast their votes for Akinbade and his deputy, retired Justice Olamide Oloyede for better welfare package for the people adding that the duo of Akinbade and Oloyede are grassroots mobilisers.
Oyinlola said that Akinbade stands better chance of winning the September 22nd governorship election because he hails from Osun West Senatorial District of the state adding that every stakeholder in the state are pointing to the zone to produce the next governor in the spirit of fairness and justice.
