Prince Charles could be set to miss the birth of his next royal grandchild due to other commitments.
Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William are expecting their third child at the begining of April.
However, the Prince of Wales may not even be in the country for the baby’s arrival, as he plans to take a trip to Australia with Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall.
The royal couple are set to travel to the other side of the world for a six-day Commonwealth Games tour up until April 10, where they will undertake engagements across the country.
Notably, they’ll represent the Queen at the opening of the games on the Gold Coast, and visit Queensland and the Northern Territory.
But this means the couple might be overseas when the royal baby arrives, meaning they won’t be able to visit Kate in hospital. Read more
