Remi Awode plans carnival-like burial for late dad

Industrial trailblazer and philanthropist, Apostle Emmanuel Aderemi Awode, who lost his loving father on December 18, 2018, is planning to pull in the who-is-who in the society for a carnival-like burial for the departed dad.

Apostle Awode, the CEO of Chemstar Manufacturing industries, makers of Finecoat paint, Shield paint and other allied products, is formally announcing the transition to heavenly glory of his beloved father, with a humble call to all and sundry to come and join him and the family in celebrating a rare gem who lived a good life filled with love for God and humanity.

Snr Apostle Dr. Dickson Awode, the Ikorodu, Lagos State-born 81-year-old patriarch of the Awode family truly lived a selfless worthy life to be emulated by those he left behind.

Plans to bid Pa Awode a triumphant farewell as demanded by his status of being a Christian soldier and champion from the world’s stage is already in top gear with top acts like Tope Alabi, Yinka Ayefele, Mega 9’9, and other gospel acts billed to entertain the guests at the two-week long funeral programme.

Burial arrangements for Pa. Awode who unarguably served his country and creator to the best of his ability, will commence with a night of hymns and praises on Monday, January 28, while the Service of Songs by the Children Ministry, Youth Fellowship Group, Brigade and Women Fellowship will hold at his residence, on Lisa Onafowokan  Street, Isawo Road, Agric, Ikorodu.

On Tuesday, January 29, there will be another Service of Songs by Soldiers of Christ, Councils of Prophet, Pastors, and Evangelists at the same venue.

While on Wednesday, January 30, there will also be a Service of Songs by Districts in Lagos/Ogun Venue, at the Victory District Qtrs., Agric, Ikorodu while the Christian wake keep service will be on Thursday, January 31, at the Lagos Govt. Park Beside Dangote Industries,  Ebute, Ikorodu.

The lying in state will also hold at his residence on the same day while the funeral service is scheduled to hold the following day by 8.45 am at the C & S, Victory District Headquarters, Agric, Ikorodu with the interment taking place at Ikoyi Vaults and Gardens by 11 am.
