Legendary South African indigenous rapper and songwriter Jabulani Tsambo best known by his stage name Hip Hop Pantsula (HHP) died at the age of 38.
It was confirmed yesterday by his wife that the singer was found died. She mentioned to a local news media:
“Yes, yes it’s true, HHP has passed away and I am very much traumatised.
‘’ I am with the family at the moment. She said.’’
HHP was renowned as a famous rapper in South Africa because he was poetic in his native South African language. At the time, the rappers in the society were interested in dropping American-style rather than promote the indigenous culture.
He was one of the most celebrated rappers in the history of South African music, several social media users have paid tribute to the musician.
