The Sahara Group, a leading Energy conglomerate, has said it will donate 50,000 books and set up rural libraries in public schools and communities in Nigeria as part of its project in championing the cause for a world full of books that can be accessed by all, especially the less privileged.
In a statement, the group, said , Sahara Foundation will also amass books that can be sent to children in Internally Displaced Persons camps as part of its programme to mark the World Book Day. ”
This vision has been the thrust of Sahara’s literacy and empowerment projects at its various locations as the energy giant continues to support education and capacity building activities among children and youths.
