Senator Abaribe in court for Kanu’s trial‎ (Punch)
A serving senator, Eyinnaya Abaribe, who is one of the three persons standing as sureties for the bail granted the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has appeared in court ahead of the Monday’s hearing in the trial of the IPOB’s leader.
Our correspondent sighted Abaribe on the premises of the Federal High Court in Abuja at about 9.45am on Monday.
By 9.50am the senator was seated in the courtroom on the fourth floor of the court building where the Monday’s proceedings are to take place. Read more
