Smartphones Watch; New Releases In October 2018

In the smartphone world, the tussle for supremacy is played out so frequently it’s a world of gladiators. Manufacturers will again be looking to edge competitors and engage customers with new releases earmarked for this October. Spoiler: multiple cameras and camera technology take center stage in these new releases. The releases for October include:

October 3: LG V40 ThinQ


LG V40 ThinQ

The V40 ThinQ will lead LG’s smartphone presentations as reported by ENews. The handset is likely to go full-throttle on its camera-phone capabilities, with 5 cameras, (two front and three back) to lure buyers. It is expected it will stick to a broad display, sporting a 6.3-inch model packed with the latest in processor technology; the Qualcomm SnapDragon 845 Processor with a 4 or 6 GB RAM depending on region and brand specifics.







October 9: Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL

The German website, WinFuture published a leak which shows both Google phones may come in 5.5-inch and 6.2-inch model, packed with a Snapdragon processor and 4GB RAM.

It looks too like Google will be sticking with one back Camera and two Front ones.


October 10: Razer Phone 2

Razor will have its second smartphone out after the successful launch of its first ‘gaming-focused’ phone. This second will spot the Snapdragon 845 Processor, matched with at least 8GB Ram for Gamers.

Additional appetizing features will be its impressive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, displaying up to 120 frames per second. It will come in a 5.7-inch screen display size.


October 16: Huawei Mate 20 Pro

Leaks published by the German site show the Mate 20 will have a 6.3-Inch OLED screen, a Kirin 980 processor and a fingerprint reader on the back of the handset. The Mate 20 is expected to have three back cameras as the P20 has.



October 17: OnePlus 6T


OnePlus 6T

According to MySmartPrice, the OnePlus 6T will abandon its jack socket and have its fingerprint scanner built into the screen, breaking for the brand’s usual design choice. It is believed to come in a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen display, a Snapdragon 845 processor and 6-8Gb RAM
