Nigeria’s first indigenous beer brand, Star Lager has completed the building of the world’s largest bottle tree in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The record-breaking tree was made with 8,000 bottles of Star Lager beer and sits proudly on the Bar Beach stretch, Victoria Island, Lagos (Venue of 2014 Lagos Countdown).
This Bottle Tree broke the former World Record of 1,000 beer bottles held by the Chinese city of Shanghai.
With over 17.5m people, Lagos is the most populous city in Nigeria and the 7th fastest-growing city in the world. It is also the commercial capital of Nigeria, making it an increasingly attractive hub on the continent.
The bottle tree is a first of its kind in the country, symbolizing greatness and the enterprising Nigerian spirit.
